Below is a copy of a letter that I am sending to all members of the House of Commons.
There is a vote on a Private Member’s bill, Bill C-218, introduced by Tamara Jensen of the Conservative Party of Canada.
Conservatives such as Tamara Jansen don’t oppose M.A.i.D. for mental illness because they care about people suffering from mental illness. It’s all performative for them. The Conservatives really don’t care about pain, or suffering.
The Conservatives oppose Medical Assistance in Dying because they love control. They love controlling people. And, they seem to love suffering.
Tamara Jansen has made it her special crusade to introduce religion into the House of Commons and legislation governing Canadians.
Religion and Compassion don’t seem to be able to co-exist.
You want to practice your religion?
Fine.
Practice it all you want, just keep it to yourself.
You don’t want to get M.A.i.D..
Fine.
Don’t get M.A.i.D.
You’re against marriage?
Fine.
Don’t marry someone of the same gender.
Pretty simple, no?
