My grandmother’s brother George was killed in Italy in 1944.

My father was born in April of 1946
Alexander Kalichuk joins the RCAF in 1950.
He is convicted of indecent behaviour in 1950 while at RCAF Station Trenton in Ontario.
Found an interesting announcement from the Edmonton Journal that was published on July 15, 1956.
The article shows my father and my uncle Doug being in Grade 5 and Grade 4 respectively. Along with my father’s cousins Karen and George being in the same school.
The medals were presented by the Local Catholic Woman’s League.
Sgt. Kalichuk arrested and charged with possession of liquor in a prohibited place, and contributng to the delinquency of a minor.
Kalichuk was driving around St. Thomas, Ontario, while drunk and with young girls panties in his car. He found a ten year old girl on the back roads and tried to get her into his car.

Lynne’s father is acquainted with Kalichuk.
Both Lynne Harper and Steven Truscott are military dependents.
