A Settlement

I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that the Attorney General of Canada, the Department of Justice, and the Minister of National Defence knew full well what the babysitter had done on Canadian Forces Base Namao from 1978 until 1980 when he acted as Captain McRae’s protégé.

I don’t think that the Government of Canada would have settled with the babysitter for his initial ask of $4.5 million dollars.

At least I sure as fuck hope not.

It’s just too bad that the Minister of National Defence, the Department of Justice, and the Attorney General of Canada never once though about reaching out to the other victims of Captain McRae and the other victims of the babysitter to offer us even a pittance of what they coughed up to the babysitter.

It should be noted that the office of the AJAG had significant involvement with the civil action between 2001 and 2009. The Office of the AJAG would have also served as a consultant with the CFNIS during the 2011 CFNIS investigation and the 2015 to 2018 CFNIS investigation.

In fact, it was the Office of the AJAG that told Sgt. Tenaschuk in 2018 that Mr. Munro could not be charged for anything from 1980 and so therefore there was no use talking to Munro.
